As Lord Mayor, I will work to build a more disciplined, united and effective Council — one that focuses on outcomes rather than division. I have proven experience leading teams to success. 
 

Good leadership does not require everyone to agree. It requires people to listen, respect different views and find constructive ways forward. I will work to bring councillors together around what we share: a commitment to Hobart and a desire to see our city succeed.
 

That means getting the basics right, respecting ratepayers’ money, listening to the community and creating a Council culture that is professional, collaborative and capable of making confident decisions for Hobart’s future.
